Окружний суд Амстердама прийняв рішення передати Україні музейні експонати виставки Крим – золотий острів в Чорному морі.

Як повідомляє NOS, рішення було прийнято на основі конвенції ЮНЕСКО, згідно з якою витвори мистецтва повинні бути повернуті суверенній державі, яка надала їх для тимчасової експозиції.

У колекції зібрано понад 500 археологічних експонатів. Їх вартість оцінюється в €1,5 млн.

Нагадаємо, виставка Крим – золотий острів у Чорному морі в музеї Алларда Пірсона була сформована з колекцій п’яти музеїв, один з яких знаходиться у Києві, чотири – в Криму. Оскільки Нідерланди не визнали російську анексію Криму, яка відбулася вже після відкриття виставки, виникло питання про те, кому повертати колекцію.
