Кількість українців, які користуються банківськими картками для оплати товарів і послуг за останні 10 років зросла у 9 разів. У 2007 році відсоток безготівкових платежів становив 4%, на кінець 2016 року – 35%.

Попри всі катаклізми, населення дійсно частіше використовує платіжні картки для розрахунків у торговельних мережах. Після обмеження готівкових розрахунків у 50 тис. грн, ця часка буде тільки рости”, – повідомляють в Українському аналітичному центрі.

Експерти нагадують, що у Швеції та Норвегії 100% розрахунків здійснюють платіжними картками. Готівку скасували через непотрібність.
