До кінця червня 2017 року українці зможуть подорожувати Європейським союзом без віз.

Такі прогнози дав голова представництва Європейського Союзу в Україні Хюґ Мінґареллі в інтерв’ю для УНІАН.

Мінґареллі переконаний, що не зважаючи на президентські вибори у Франції, до України не висунуть жодних заперечень щодо отримання безвізу.

“Рішення вже було прийнято у Брюсселі і зараз виконується відповідно до плану. Безвізовий режим повинен набути чинності до кінця червня”,– додав він.Також посол уточнив про вимоги, яких українці будуть повинні дотримуватися при перетині європейських кордонів з біометричним паспортом після запровадження безвізового режиму. Мінґареллі уточнив, що прикордонники можуть ставити додаткові питання щодо заброньованого житла чи достатньої кількості грошей у людини, яка перетинає кордон. Відповідно, якщо українець не зможе довести своєї платоспроможності – у в’їзді йому можуть відмовити.
