Оновлена Комісія з розслідування авіаційних подій незабаром оприлюднить підсумки чотирьох місяців своєї роботи над обставинами катастрофи під Смоленськом 10 квітня 2010 року польського президентського літака Ту-154М

Про це заявив в ефірі Польського телебачення міністр оборони республіки Антоній Мачеревич.

“Найближчим часом буде представлена важлива реконструкція подій”, – сказав він.

“Вона показує, як неймовірно нас обманювали в останні роки, а з іншого боку, як в реальності виглядали останні секунди цього польоту. Ми це побачимо і точно почуємо”, – додав міністр.

  • 10 квітня 2010-го офіційна польська делегація, що складалася з високопоставлених чиновників і громадських діячів на чолі з президентом Лехом Качинським, летіла в Катинь для участі в меморіальних заходах. У тумані літак кілька метрів не дотягнув до злітно-посадкової смуги.
  • Польська урядова комісія в 2011 році зробила висновок, що “причиною події було зниження нижче мінімальної висоти при надмірній швидкості в метеоумовах, що не дозволяють здійснювати візуальний контакт із землею, а також запізнілий початок процедури відходу на друге коло”.
