У Google заявили, що версії Android від 2.3.7 і старше стали занадто уразливими для хакерів

Абонентів українських операторів стільникового зв’язку Київстар, Vodafone і lifecell з 27 вересня 2021 року можуть відключити від мережі.

Чому відключать абонентів
У Google заявили, що версії Android від 2.3.7 і старше стали занадто уразливими для хакерів, тому вони будуть відключені. Користувачам, у яких встановлені ці версії Android, необхідно оновити ПО 3.0 і новіше.

Інакше з 27 вересня можуть виникати помилки при введенні паролів, спробах увійти в обліковий запис Google і при використанні Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps.

Відключення смартфонів стосується більш ніж 250 тисяч абонентів. У Vodafone користувачів із застарілими версіями Android найбільше – 130 тисяч, у Київстару – понад 100 тисяч, а у lifecell – 36 тисяч.
