Єгор Біркун повинен був представляти країну на міжнародних змаганнях.

У середу, 23 березня, під час захисту Маріуполя загинув український боєць змішаних єдиноборств Єгор Біркун.

Про це повідомила в Instagram українська федерація змішаних бойових мистецтв (UFMMA).

Зазначається, що Біркун повинен був представляти Україну на чемпіонаті світу з ММА GAMMA, який стартував 23 березня. Однак після російського вторгнення спортсмен пішов захищати країну від окупантів.

На жаль, з війни Єгор не повернувся.
