Зеленський: Ми розуміємо, що не вступимо в НАТО під час війни, але хочемо чіткий сигнал

Президент України Володимир Зеленський зазначив, що на саміті НАТО у Вільнюсі Київ сподівається отримати від союзників сигнал про осяжну перспективу вступу до Альянсу.

Як повідомляє “Європейська правда”, про це він сказав на спільному брифінгу з прем’єрами Нідерландів та Бельгії у Гаазі.

Зеленський зауважив, що Україна хотіла би почути від партнерів на саміті у Вільнюсі “щось більше, ніж про “відкриті двері” Альянсу”.

“Ми реалісти, ми розуміємо, що не вступимо в НАТО, поки війна триває. Та вже під час війни ми хочемо почути чіткий сигнал про те, що ми будемо у НАТО після війни”, – зауважив він.

Прем’єр Нідерландів Марк Рютте, коментуючи запитання про Україну і НАТО, нагадав фразу генсека Альянсу про те, що Україна “належить до євроатлантичної родини” і “одного дня буде в НАТО”.

“Щодо Нідерландів – ми підтримуємо амбіції України щодо членства в НАТО. Ми зараз працюємо над тим, щоби на саміті у Вільнюсі ми зробили крок вперед і не повернулися до формулювань, які були на Бухарестському саміті (2008 року. – ЄП), чи ще якихось. Щоб це був явний крок. Що саме це буде – буде обговорюватися у наступні 4-6 тижнів”, – додав Рютте.

Напередодні у Гельсінкі Зеленський висловив позицію, що Україна повинна стати 33-м членом НАТО після того, як до Альянсу приєднається Швеція.

Нагадаємо, глава МЗС України Дмитро Кулеба заявив, що Україна очікує від вільнюського саміту своєрідного “графіка вступу в НАТО”, та навів свої аргументи, чому членство України вигідне і Києву, і самому Альянсу.

За інформацією німецького агентства DPA, деякі ключові члени НАТО, зокрема Німеччина і США, поки не хочуть конкретних рішень у питанні членства України в Альянсі.
