Більше 110 країн переводять годинники на літній час.

26 березня Україна перейде на літній час, о 03:00 за київським часом стрілки годинника українці переведуть на одну годину вперед.


Варто відзначити, що перехід на літній час дозволяє економити електроенергію, а також дає один зайвий час відпочинку в світлий час доби. Більш ніж 110 використовують перехід на літній час.
Примітно, що в Росії і ОРДЛО час на літній не переводиться.
В Україні ж ця норма регулюється постановою Кабміну № 509 від 13.05.1996 року Про порядок обчислення часу на території України. Кожної останньої неділі березня стрілки годинника переводяться на годину вперед.
