Курс долара злетів на 50: валюта приголомшила усіх – понеділок став історичним днем

Що відбувається на валютному ринку

У травні 2024 року середній курс продажу готівкового долара в Україні збільшився на 1,3% – до 40,17 гривні. За даними Національного банку України, порівняно з груднем 2023 року курс збільшився на 2,34 гривні. Про це свідчать дані, які опубліковані на сайті Національного банку України.

Курс долара контролюється Нацбанком через інтервенції на міжбанківському валютному ринку. Офіційний курс регулярно оновлює історичні максимуми.

За місяць курс збільшився на 2,1% до 40,50 гривень за долар (порівняно з 39,66 гривнями за долар на 30 квітня). З початку року курс зріс на 6,6% від 37,98 гривні за долар на 31 грудня 2023 року.

Готівковий курс повністю залежить від міжбанку і наприкінці травня піднявся понад 41 гривню за долар.

НБУ пояснює, що збільшення попиту на валюту призвело до послаблення обмінного курсу гривні у травні. Це пов’язано з активізацією бюджетних видатків, зменшенням валютних надходжень від експорту сільськогосподарської продукції через врожай минулого року, значними випадковими сплесками попиту, особливо в останній тиждень місяця, та подальшою лібералізацією валютних обмежень.

Крім того, НБУ відзначає збільшення різниці між готівковим та офіційним курсами, яка все ще перебуває в розумних межах, не перевищуючи 1,4%. За таких умов НБУ значно збільшив обсяг інтервенцій до 3,1 млрд доларів.

Нагадаємо, що у 2023 році середній курс продажу готівкового долара в Україні знизився на 5,9% до 37,83 гривні. 2022 року курс збільшився на 47,7% з 27,21 до 40,19 гривні за долар.
