Іванна Коберник, співзасновниця ГО «Батьківський контроль» та «Смарт освіта», радниця міністра освіти України (2016-2020 рр.) розповіла, як підготуватися до навчального року за умов відключень світла та інтернету.
За її словами, початок навчального року в серпні – це один із можливих виходів із ситуації, але уряд обрав інший шлях. Кабінет Міністрів ухвалив постанову, що навчальний рік розпочнеться 2 вересня, оскільки 1 вересня – неділя.

Іванна Коберник зазначила, що в Україні навчальний рік – один з найкоротших у світі, і багато громад не були готові розпочати навчання раніше. Водночас, з середини листопада прогнозується важкий період з тривалими відключеннями світла, до 12 годин на добу.

Навчання онлайн стане малоймовірним через відключення світла, тому вже зараз потрібно думати про організацію очного навчання. Львів та Чернівці оголосили про початок навчання у серпні, але інші громади не поспішали приймати подібні рішення. Освіта не звучить як пріоритет уряду, і вчителі виступають проти збільшення тривалості навчального року через збільшення робочих днів.

Коберник вважає, що збільшення тривалості навчального року є необхідним, але це рішення повинно супроводжуватися переглядом навчальних програм, зменшенням теоретичного навантаження та додаванням більше практичних знань. Вона також пропонує розглянути навчання по суботах як тимчасовий захід.

Навчальні заклади повинні використовувати максимальні можливості для очного навчання, де це дозволяє безпекова ситуація, а також передбачати асинхронну роботу в умовах відсутності тепла та світла.
