Близько 701 тисячі судових проваджень про стягнення боргів за житлово-комунальні послуги (ЖКУ) зафіксовано в Україні станом на липень 2024 року. З початку повномасштабної війни кількість боржників зросла на 37%. Про це розповів народний депутат України, перший заступник голови Комітету з питань енергетики та житлово-комунальних послуг Олексій Кучеренко в ефірі КИЇВ24.

Якщо людина має борг за оплату комунальних послуг, йому можуть відмовити у праві продати квартиру або передати її у спадок.

«Чому раптом люди перестали платити за воду? Ось у Києві: що тут сталося такого, що перестали платити за воду? Тим більше, що київський водоканал серед тих водоканалів, яким заборонили підвищувати тариф. Київ мешкає в умовах старого тарифу. Якщо я не помиляюся, вода, водовідведення десь 35 гривень. Вибачте, нас чують зараз люди, котрі в Умані платять по 120 гривень за куб. А є населені пункти, де загалом вода виросла кардинально. Кияни не платять по 37 грн, а маленьке місто по 120 платить», – наголосив Кучеренко.

Народний депутат наголосив, що держава жорстко каратиме таких громадян.

«Я вам гарантую, все одно за цим обов’язком до вас рано чи пізно прийдуть. І я переконаний, що буде рано чи пізно жорсткішим законодавством у цій ситуації. Людям дозволять або погасити борги або цей борг висітиме обтяженням на квартирі. І просто її треба буде продати, а ви не зможете через борг. Треба спадщину передати. Також. І це абсолютно по-чесному», – додав нардеп.
