Хмельницький міськрайонний суд виніс вирок молодій людині, визнавши його винним у незаконному носінні певного предмета.

Обставини справи та винесене рішення викликають широкий суспільний резонанс та порушують важливі питання щодо того, що можна з собою носити, а що ні, і за що можна охопити штраф.

На початку квітня поточного року військовослужбовці Національної гвардії України зупинили молодика для проведення планової перевірки. Під час огляду у громадянина було виявлено холодну зброю – кастет. Обвинувачений пояснив, що знайшов його раніше і не знав про заборону носити такий вид зброї.

Суд визнав чоловіка винним у скоєнні кримінального правопорушення, передбаченого частиною 2 статті 263 Кримінального кодексу України, що передбачає відповідальність за незаконне поводження зі зброєю. Як покарання суд призначив штраф у розмірі 17 тисяч гривень. Крім того, засуджений має відшкодувати державі витрати на проведення експертизи, які становили 2272 гривні.
