НБУ попередив усіх, хто має долари: жорсткі правила для банків та обмінників

НБУ продовжує контролювати ситуацію та захищати права споживачів, а також давати рекомендації щодо дій із валютою

Тема обміну іноземної валюти в Україні залишається актуальною і “Стіна” систематично про це повідомляє. Національний банк України (НБУ) роз’яснює правила та проводить перевірки.

Банки та обмінні пункти зобов’язані приймати всі іноземні банкноти, достовірність яких підтверджена детекторами. Пошкоджені купюри можна обміняти із комісією.

Докладніше про те, що в НБУ роз’яснили, які долари мають приймати у банках та обмінниках, повідомляє “Стіна”, посилаючись на РБК-Україна.

Фінансовим установам заборонено відмовляти в обміні валюти, повідомляє “Стіна”, якщо вона відповідає стандартам центрального банку країни-емітента та підтверджена обладнанням. Також не можна встановлювати обмеження за номіналом та роком випуску банкнот.

Зношені купюри, за інформацією “Стіни”, обмінюються через процедуру інкасо, що банки зобов’язані інформувати клієнтів. У разі відмови у прийомі купюр, що відповідають стандартам, можна подати скаргу до НБУ.

Проблема “старих” доларів
НБУ з 2023 року вжив заходів щодо врегулювання питання, скасував список ознак незначного зносу валюти та провів перевірки, повідомляє “Стіна”.

2024 року перевірено 150 обмінних пунктів, накладено штрафи на 5,65 млн гривень. Кількість скарг на відмову в обміні валюти скоротилася більш ніж уп’ятеро.

Ліцензовані обмінні пункти, повідомляє “Стіна”, дотримуються правил, проте проблема зберігається у нелегальному секторі. Для боротьби з тіньовими обмінниками потрібні правоохоронні органи.

Зношені та старі купюри: рекомендації
З 2023 року банки стягували комісії за зношені купюри, що викликало скарги, повідомляє “Стіна”. Щоб уникнути проблем, рекомендується обмінювати валюту у ліцензованих пунктах. У разі необґрунтованої відмови можна подати скаргу до НБУ.
