Індекс долара прямує до найгіршого тижня з листопада 2022 року через побоювання, що торговельна політика США сповільнить зростання найбільшої економіки світу.

Як інформує “Еспресо”, спотовий індекс долара Bloomberg знизився на 2,4%, що стало найбільшим тижневим падінням з того часу.

Це сталося на тлі стабільного зростання кількості робочих місць у США, однак рівень безробіття зріс, що вказує на ослаблення ринку праці.

Зниження прибутковості американських облігацій також стало причиною тиску на долар, оскільки це підтримує ймовірність пом’якшення монетарної політики в країні.

“Величезні фіскальні зміни в Німеччині підвищили очікування зростання в єврозоні, і це сталося в той час, коли посилилися побоювання щодо перспектив зростання в США”, — сказав стратег State Street Лі Феррідж.
