Моя тітка з Росії була у нас в гостях 3 дні і втекла назад у Росію. Чому?

– Тетя говорит, что в Петербурге все чудесно. Люди, как никогда, большие зар­платы получают. По 100 тысяч рублей, – каже телефоном знайома Олена.

Тиждень тому до неї у Харків приїхала з Росії рідна тітка по батьку. Вперше за останні три роки вирішила погостювати в Україні. Привезла російських цукерок і три пляшки курської горілки. Попросила, щоб їй провели екскурсію містом і звозили до сусідньої Полтави.

– Вона вражена брудом на наших вулицях. Каже, у росіян совісті більше. Ніколи не кинуть недопалок повз смітник. Говорить, що у нас стало багато бідних. Гроші просять біля переходів. Тітку від них аж нудить. Я її розумію, бо у Петербурзі працює адміністратором ресторану. Точно величезну зарплату має.

У суботу ввечері Олена передзвонює. Сміється.

– Тітка втекла від нас. Вкрала все золото й срібло. У п’ятницю ранком вирішили на дачу з’їздити. Вона відмовилася. Лишили їй ключі від квартири. Наступного дня вернулися, а від неї і слід простив. Всю неділю надзвонювали їй на Skype. Написали повідомлення, щоб повернула коштовності. На зв’язок близько півночі вийшов її чоловік. Сказав, що тітка кається, але нічого вертати не хоче. Вже півроку, як не може знайти роботу. А він майже рік сидить без заробітків. Грошей від нашого золота їм на три місяці нормального життя вистачить. Мовляв, як будете такі ж бідні – зрозумієте. От тобі і вся Росія. За всю свою історію навчилися тільки одного – красти чуже.
