Гройсман у США заручився додатковою фінансовою допомогою для України

Завершується візит до США української делегації на чолі з прем’єр-міністром Володимиром Гройсманом.

У Вашингтоні відбулася низка важливих зустрічей, на яких прозвучали суми додаткової допомоги Україні.

Світовий банк готовий виділити ще мільярд доларів на фінансування програм в Україні, – повідомив прем’єр-міністр на своїй сторінці в Facebook за результатами зустрічі з директором-розпорядником та головним операційним директором Світового банку Шрі Мульяні Індраваті.

Сторони домовилися спільно розробити стратегію розвитку транспортних коридорів і автомобільних доріг для України із залученням на її впровадження бюджетних, кредитних і приватних ресурсів.

За словами Гройсмана, такої стратегії ніколи не було, а її реалізація може стати одним з двигунів економічного відродження України.

Минулого року загальне фінансування України Світовим банком склало понад 1,2 мільярда доларів.

Про надання додаткових 220 мільйонів доларів йшлося і під час зустрічі українського прем’єр-міністра з віце-президентом США Джозефом Байденом. Частково ці гроші будуть надані Агентством США з міжнародного розвитку (USAID) і підуть на запуск нового проекту в сфері енергетики, який допоможе Україні у створенні прозорих ринків газу та електроенергії, інтеграції в європейський ринок газу, збільшення енергоефективності та диверсифікацію джерел енергії.

Також USAID виділить допомогу в судовій реформі та боротьбі з корупцією.

Частина суми, що залишилася, повідомляє Білий дім, буде спрямована на реформу митниці, підтримку незалежних ЗМІ і громадянського суспільства.
