На виборах мера Тбілісі перемогу здобув кандидат від правлячої партії “Грузинська мрія”, колишній футболіст і колишній міністр енергетики Грузії Каха Каладзе.

Про це повідомляє телеканал Руставі 2.

За результатами підрахунку голосів з 714 із 737 виборчих дільниць, Каладзе набрав 51,15% голосів виборців.

Незалежний кандидат Алеко Єлісашвілі набрав 17,46% голосів, а кандидат від опозиційної партії “Єдиний національний рух” Заал Удумашвілі отримав 16,48% голосів.

Каха Каладзе відомий в минулому футболіст, грав за київське “Динамо” і італійські “Мілан” та “Дженоа”.

Після завершення футбольної кар’єри Каладзе активно зайнявся політикою і вступив до лав опозиційного тоді руху “Грузинська мрія”, заснованого мільярдером Бідзіною Іванішвілі в лютому 2012 року.

Він був обраний до парламенту Грузії, обіймав посади віце-прем’єра і міністра енергетики Грузії.

21 жовтня в Грузії пройшли вибори в місцеві органи самоврядування. Громадяни вибирали мерів 64 міст і районів, а також депутатів 64 муніципальних законодавчих органів (сакребуло).
