Оскільки Україна взяла курс на євроінтеграцію, то є ймовірність скасування переходу на зимовий час, як це скоро зроблять в ЄС.

Як повідомили в Міністерстві економічного розвитку і торгівлі, в разі прийняття ЄС рішення про скасування переходу на літній час, виникне можливість реалізації таких же змін і в Україні.

З розвитком промисловості, осучаснення виробництв, зникло і головне обгрунтування існування такого переведення годинників. Раніше президент Європейської комісії Жан-Клод Юнкер повідомив, що під час онлайн-опитування скасування переведення годинників підтримали 80% з 4,6 млн опитаних.
