Neue Suedtiroler Tageszeitung ідентифікував боєприпас як повітряну бомбу.

За словами історика Етторе Франжіпані, Больцано, в північному регіоні Альто-Адідже, межує з Австрією, постраждало від 13 великих бомбардувань Другої Світової Війни, які пошкодили 60% міста і вбили 200 осіб.
