Новий рік-2020: головну ялинку України засвітять 19 грудня

Софіївська площа в Києві перетвориться на чарівний світ пригод Лускунчика,пообіцяли організатори.

Урочисті заходи в Києві з нагоди новорічних свят на Софійській і Контрактовій площах почнуться 14 грудня і триватимуть до 19 січня. Урочисте запалювання ялинок відбудеться в день Святого Миколая, 19 грудня, о 19:00. Про це повідомляє мерія Києва з посиланням на організаторів культурно-мистецького проекту Новий рік-2020 у четвер, 21 листопада.

Тематикою святкового містечка на Софійській площі стане знаменита різдвяна історія про Лускунчика. 19 грудня о 17:00 святкування відкриє різдвяний парад, який пройде від Національної опери України до Софійської площі. Після закінчення параду відбудеться офіційне засвічення ялинки.

Ялинку прикрасять 750 іграшок у вигляді цукерок і чотири кілометри гірлянд теплого кольору. Навколо ялинки розгорнеться восьмикутна зірка з яскравих гірлянд. Головні герої казки про Лускунчика будуть “охороняти” ялинку разом з українськими козаками. Монтаж ялинки почнуть 5 грудня, її висота – 30 м, її складуть з гілок і не будуть рубати окремо дерево.

На Софійській площі також буде курсувати різдвяний експрес.

На Контрактовій площі прикрасять ялинку в стилі Опішні – центру традиційного гончарства в Полтавській області. Різдвяне містечко також буде присвячене цій темі. Тут відкриють резиденцію Святого Миколая і 19 грудня також запалять ялинку в етнічному стилі.

У програмі святкування – хода звіздарів 7 січня, виконання масової коляди, установка Дідуха і народні гуляння; щедрування напередодні Святого Василя, виступ фольклорних колективів. Щодня можна буде покататися на стріт-арт-ковзанці, де працюватимуть інструктори, і на гірках.

На відвідувачів чекають концертна програма, фотозони, атракціони, фудкорти, сувеніри, скульптури-гіганти, ілюмінація.

З 14 грудня 2019 року до 12 січня 2020-го зимові розваги триватимуть на Софійській площі, Володимирському проїзді (від Михайлівської площі до перетину з вулицею Алли Тарасової), проїжджій частині Володимирського проїзду навпроти будинку № 5. А з 14 грудня 2019 року до 19 січня 2020-го – на Контрактовій площі, вулиці Петра Сагайдачного (від Контрактової площі до перетину з вулицею Андріївською).
