Епідемія коронавірусу в Італії досягла свого піку. Щоправда, у групі ризику другої хвилі захворювання перебуває південь країни.

Таку заяву зробив голова Служби цивільної оборони Італії Анджело Борреллі. За його словами, ситуація на півночі – більш критична, але південь досі перебуває в небезпеці, передає інформаційна агенція ANSA.

За словами Бореллі, після того, як епідемія коронавірусу досягла піку, можна спостерігати уповільнення зростання нових випадків зараження. Мовиться і про ті, що потребують стаціонарного лікування.

У Вищому інституті здоров’я Італії (ISS), зі свого боку, наголосили, хоча й досягнуто піку епідемії, жорсткі карантинні заходи скасовувати не можна.

“Якщо обмеження зняти або послабити, епідемія може відновитися раніше, ніж вона піде на спад”, – додають у ISS.

Напередодні у Всесвітній організації охорони здоров’я відзначилися подібною заявою, проте вона стосувалася всієї Європи. Як аргумент у ВООЗ навели власне ситуацію в Італії – тут за останні два тижні зафіксували найменшу кількість випадків зараження.

Коронавірус у Італії: коротко

Італію вважають найбільш інфікованим регіоном Європи. Ця країна є другою у світі після США за кількістю хворих і першою – за числом смертей.

Тут зафіксували понад 105 тисяч хворих на коронавірус. На жаль, понад 12,5 тисяч осіб померли, зокрема лікарі. Понад 77 тисяч італійців – досі інфіковані.

Найбільше від коронавірусу постраждала північ країни, а саме регіон Ломбардія. Пізніше хвороба поширилася на усю територію.

Через епідемію коронавірусу жителям Італії заборонили ходити вулицями. Виходити можна лише за продуктами, в аптеки й на роботу. В інших випадках необхідно мати відповідний дозвіл.
