Президент Філіппін Родріго Дутерте дозволив поліції і військовим стріляти на ураження по злісних порушниках карантину. Про це він заявив у своєму відеозверненні до населення, передає CNN.

Зокрема, Дутерте дозволив стріляти по тих, хто влаштує безлади або порушить роботу з роздачі їжі.

“Мої накази поліції, військовим і барангаям, якщо вони (порушники карантину. – ред.) стануть некерованими і почнуть чинити опір, і вашому житті буде загрожувати небезпека, пристреліть їх”, – сказав Дутерте.

Разом з тим, президент застеріг ліві угруповання від організації голодних бунтів.

Раніше в столиці країни Манілі відбулися акції протесту з вимогою до уряду допомогти з продовольством.
