Європу накриє різке похолодання з хуртовинами та снігопадами: в Україні вдарить мороз

До низки країн Європи, зокрема й до України, 11-12 травня прийде інтенсивне похолодання, подекуди в супроводі снігопадів і навіть хуртовин.

Як повідомив у Facebook кандидат географічних наук, синоптик Харківського гідрометцентру Ігор Кибальчич, основний удар Арктики відчують вночі та вранці 12 травня жителі країн Прибалтики, Польщі, де температура повітря опуститься до 0 градусів, а опади переважатимуть у вигляді снігу й мокрого снігу.

Протягом дня зона змішаних опадів і холоду пошириться на Білорусь, крайні західні області України та північний захід європейської території Росії.

Найбільш інтенсивні снігопади варто очікувати в північній половині Білорусі, Псковській і Новгородській областях Росії, а також у Карпатах.

Температура повітря навіть в денний час коливатиметься в межах 0…+2 градуси, в Карпатах -2…-4, що нижче за кліматичну норму для цього періоду на 15-17 градусів.

“У районах інтенсивного випадання мокрого снігу висока ймовірність масових деревопадів і обривів проводів у зв’язку з різким збільшенням навантаження на крони дерев, які вже обзавелися пишним листям. Каталізатором цього слугуватиме й поривчастий північно-західний вітер, швидкість якого сягатиме 17-22 м/с. Здебільшого на подібний результат можна чекати в Прибалтиці, на сході Польщі та північних районах Білорусі”, – зазначив синоптик.

Він додав, що в процесі просування холодного фронту далі на схід і поступової трансформації повітряної маси інтенсивність похолодання знижуватиметься, тому опади у вигляді мокрого снігу на схід від Волинської та Львівської області вже малоймовірні.

Водночас добове зниження температури в багатьох містах України перевищить 10-15 градусів.
