У четвер, 5 травня, під час візиту до Варшави на конференцію “Донори для України” голова українського уряду Денис Шмигаль підписав важливий документ у сфері безпеки та оборони з прем’єр-міністром Польщі Матеушем Моравецьким.

Про це він повідомив на пресконференції в посольстві України, передає tvn24.

“Сьогодні ми підписали документ про підтримку у сфері безпеки та оборони. Надзвичайно, дуже важливий документ. Я не можу розкривати його зміст, але це важливий крок для надання Україні спеціальної технології та спеціальної підтримки у сфері безпеки та оборони”, – сказав Шмигаль.

Український прем’єр також зауважив, що “війна показала, хто для України друг і брат, а хто навпаки”.

“Висловлюю глибоку вдячність польському президенту та прем’єр-міністру, ми іноді зв’язуємось по телефону кілька разів на день. Хочу наголосити, що Польща надає безпрецедентну допомогу Україні у всіх можливих сферах. Я не можу вдаватися в подробиці, але з точки зору військової підтримки Польща є нашим другим за важливістю партнером, відразу після США”, – заявив він.

Денис Шмигаль наголосив, що відносини України та Польщі вступили в абсолютно новий етап. На його думку, “польсько-українське братство триватиме наступні десятиліття”.
