Інформацію про тривалість сексу, отримати важко, навіть анекдотично. Люди часто прибріхують, прикрашаючи свої слова, адже можуть відчувати тиск суспільства, якщо тривалість їхнього сексу відрізняється від сприйнятих культурних норм.

тривалість менше ніж 3 хв викликає клінічне занепокоєння;
тривалістю 3–7 хв є “достатньою”;
тривалість 7–13 хв є “бажаною”;
тривалість 10–30 хв є “занадто довгою”.
Правильно це, чи ні, сказати важко, але якщо ви відчуваєте певний психологічний або фізичний дискомфорт варто сказати про це партнеру. Культурні норми, включно з рекомендаціями медичних працівників, можуть впливати на сексуальні очікування та відігравати певну роль у сексуальному незадоволенні.
