Існує простий спосіб розпізнати заражену коронавірусом людину – потрібно оцінити, як вона сприймає запахи. Про це розповів лікар і телеведучий Євген Комаровський.

Лікар переконаний: втрата нюху і почуття смаку є точним діагностичним симптомом зараження коронавірусом. Думкою про це відомий медик поділився в своєму Telegram.

За його словами, перевірка здатності адекватно сприймати запахи і смак є не тільки простим, але і більш надійним способом розпізнати заражену коронавірусом людину, ніж термометрія.

Комаровський пояснив, що дана особливість COVID-19 обумовлена ​​властивістю вірусу вражати нервові клітини, відповідальні за сприйняття запаху і смаку. На відміну від грипу, коли теж втрачається нюх, коронавірус не викликає сильної закладеності носа.

«При коронавірусі нежиті на копійку, а нюху немає», – підкреслив лікар.
