У Зеленського розповіли, чому Україна більше не робитиме кроків щодо вступу до НАТО

Україна поки не буде робити кроки щодо вступу до НАТО через позицію окремих країн-учасниць.
Про це сказав в інтерв’ю заступник голови Офісу президента Ігор Жовква для FT.

За його словами, на саміті НАТО в Мадриді мають прийняти нову стратегічну концепцію. Попередня редакція зобов’язує альянс розвивати партнерство з Україною. Офіційний Київ визнає, що в короткостроковій перспективі вступ неможливий, але НАТО має підтвердити партнерство.

“Члени НАТО відкинули наші прагнення. Нічого іншого в цьому плані робити не будемо”, – зазначив він.

Крім того, Україна хоче, щоб будь-які згадки про росію як про партнера були виключені зі стратегічної концепції.

“Ми очікуємо, що в стратегічній концепції НАТО будуть більш суворі попередження російському агресору”, – додав він.
