Українські вчителі звикли виховувати дітей власним прикладом. Від початку російсько-української війни й пізніше після повномасштабного вторгнення росії в Україну багато освітян долучились до допомоги ЗСУ.

33-річний вчитель фізкультури Іван Гавриль із Закарпаття за пів року зібрав понад мільйон гривень на потреби нашої армії.

Про це йдеться у сюжеті СТБ.

Директор школи, де працює Іван — із перших днів на фронті. Коли він попросив допомогти з амуніцією, вже перший пакунок фізкерівник зібрав за чотири дні.

Люди готові були жертвувати, лише б зупинити ворога. Але тоді такий був період, що дуже важко було знайти амуніцію. Шукали по всій Європі ті ж наколінники, налокітники, — розповідає освітянин.

З часом потреби бійців все збільшувалися, адже вирушили на фронт вони з перших днів повномасштабної війни, до цього ніколи не тримаючи в руках зброю. Тому небайдужі донатили, хто скільки міг. Окрім грошової допомоги, збирали й гуманітарну.

Загалом ми зібрали близько 600 тисяч гривень. Але якщо порахувати усю допомогу, яку ми надіслали у вигляді різних медикаментів, амуніції, спорядження, продовольства, — буде понад мільйон гривень, — підрахував допомогу ЗСУ вчитель фізкультури.
