У суспільстві давно тривають дискусії та суперечки щодо кількості предметів у школах, навчального та психологічного навантаження учнів, освітніх втрат, спричинених пандемією ковід та повномасштабною війною. Міністр освіти і науки України Оксен Лісовий звернувся до громадськості з проханням поділитися думкою щодо питання навчального навантаження дітей в школах.

Далі – пряма мова.

Два роки ковіду та рік повномасштабного вторгнення. Навантаження на дитину дуже високе: і психологічне, і розумове. Це і про велику кількість предметів, і про навчання онлайн, і про додаткові заняття, щоб надолужити втрачене.

Наприклад, у 7-9 класі діти наразі мають близько 20 предметів. Таку кількість складно засвоїти і без стресу та онлайн-навчання (подекуди без гаджетів, адаптованих навчальних програм тощо). А в наших умовах – це на межі можливостей. Тож зрештою діти все одно зосереджуються на тих предметах, які обирають для себе як пріоритетні. Це я бачу і як батько, і тривалий час спостерігав як директор Малої академії наук.

Фактично питання стоїть не стільки про те, скільки має бути предметів, а як оптимізовані навчальні програми, яке навантаження отримують діти на уроках і на домашнє опрацювання, в якій формі відбувається навчання.

Згідно з Законом “Про освіту” 2017, у старшій профільній школі, починаючи з 2027 року, діти зможуть обирати напрямок, за яким вони хочуть навчатися. Відповідно, це має змінити підхід з мультипредметності на конкретний профіль, який цікавий школяру чи школярці.
