Цю машину вперше показали на найбільшій міжнародній виставці комерційних автомобілів IAA 2016 у Ганновері, де вона викликала чималий інтерес.

Головна особливість авто полягає у шасі відомого голландського виробника DAF Trucks. Це шасі запозичене від середньотоннажника DAF LF і оснащене турбодизелем у 210 к.с. екологічного стандарту Євро-5. До літа 2017 року на автобус корпорація «Еталон» обіцяє встановити двигун DAF стандарту Євро-6 і тоді А084 «Тюльпан» можна буде вільно продавати в країнах ЄС. А084 «Тюльпан» має довжину 10 м, ширину 2,34 м і висоту 3,0 м. Колісна база становить 5,0 м. Споряджена маса становить 8300 кг, а повна – 13 000 кг. Передня підвіска коліс – залежна, ресорна, задня – ресорно-пневматична. Наразі автобус існує у двох екземплярах.

У Німеччині він був представлений із середніми двостулковоми дверима (модель А08430), хоча для українського ринку більше підійде з одинарними (А08420). Саме остання машина і показана в новому відеоролику. Загальна пасажиромісткість становить 60 осіб. У європейському варіанті – 37 місць для сидіння, а в українському – 39. Крім того, є підпільні багажні відсіки – ємністю 3,4 кубометри. Вартість автобуса А08430 «Тюльпан» Євро-5 для європейського ринку становить 90 тис. євро.
