Державний секретар США Рекс Тіллерсон зміг завоювати симпатії міністрів закордонних справ країн-членів НАТО у ході свого першого офіційного візиту до Альянсу. Про це повідомляє видання Politico.Eu

Один із присутніх на зустрічі розповів виданню, що за підсумками спілкування дипломати, які з початку з недовірою ставились до нового державного секретаря США, вітали Тіллерсона оваціями.

“(Він отримав) овації, у буквальному сенсі. Це не метафора. Йому реально рукоплескали”, – наводить слова дипломата видання.

Звісно з Росією можна танцювати і навіть щось від цього отримати. Але з Сергієм Лавровим точно не потанцюєш, бо йому танцювати не дозволено
Відзначається, що початковий скепсис щодо Тіллерсона, якого у ЗМІ називали наближеним до Путіна, зник після дотепного жарту державного секретаря по темі необхідності єдності країн НАТО у питанні Росії.

Що ж відбулось? Коли один із присутніх міністрів заговорив про дворівневий підхід до взаєми із Росієї і додав “для танцю потрібна пара”, Тіллерсон відповів: “Звісно з Росією можна танцювати і навіть щось від цього отримати. Але з Сергієм Лавровим точно не потанцюєш, бо йому танцювати не дозволено”.

При цьому малось на увазі, що всі рішення у Росії ухвалює особисто Путін.
