Лихо вже на порозі: 7 лютого, яке сьогодні свято, що категорично заборонено робити, кого привітати

Цей день в народі вважався «поминальним», тому укладати шлюби заборонялося. Пекли пироги з цибулею та пригощали рідних. Кілька пирогів обов’язково виносили за поріг для «покійників».

Сьогодні, 7 лютого, за повідомленням Телевізійної служби новин, в церковному календарі день пам’яті святого преподобного Партенія, єпископа Лампсакійського. Він жив у IV столітті в місті Мелітополі в Малій Азії. Був сином диякона Христодула. Від раннього віку Партеній відзначався даром творення див та зцілення недужих. Невдовзі його висвятили на священника, а пізніше він став єпископом міста Лампсака. Святий Партеній відомий численними дивами, серед яких найбільшим було воскресіння мертвого юнака, якого під час будівництва церкви переїхав віз, завантажений кам’яними плитами. Він помер 360 року. Його мощі здавались джерелом зцілення для багатьох недужих.

Наші пращури вірили, що цього дня категорично заборонено укладати шлюб – він буде нещасним. Також, зеленого одягу одягати не варто – він призведе до втрати достатку. І ще, в магазин на закупи краще не ходити – це теж не до добра.

З давніх давен існують прикмети цього дня:

хмари мають синій колір — до теплої погоди;
на заході сонце червоного кольору — літо буде прохолодним;
вітряно після полудня — до багатого урожаю ярових;
з півночі прийшло тепло — влітку буде тепло і сонячно
