Держприкордонслужба облаштувала всі пункти перетину кордону для перевірки біометричних паспортів

Майже 3,5 млн громадян України вже оформили біометричні закордонні паспорти. Держприкордонслужба України облаштувала всі пункти перетину кордону засобами для перевірки біометричних паспортів. Про це повідомив Президент України Петро Порошенко в ході наради в Луцьку щодо підготовки прикордонних пунктів до безвізового режиму з Європейським Союзом.

“Одним із пріоритетних завдань було обладнання пунктів пропуску засобами біометричного контролю. Хочу подякувати прикордонникам, які ефективно виконали поставлене мною завдання. Зараз ця система функціонує, як мені доповів генерал Назаренко, в усіх без виключення пунктах перетину кордону, пунктах пропуску на кордоні з ЄС”, – сказав глава держави.

Президент додав: “І в указі, який я підпишу за підсумками нашої наради, міститься вимога забезпечити всі пункти пропуску обладнанням для автоматичного зчитування біометричної інформації з паспортних документів”.

Крім того, глава держави запропонував, щоб перетинати кордон українцям допомагали консультанти.

“Давайте домовимося таким чином, щоб у нас на кожному пункті перетину кордону були консультанти. До того, як вони (громадяни, які перетинають кордон) підійдуть до митника чи прикордонника, щоб був налагоджений сервіс, треба подумати нашим місцевим органам влади, щоб знайти волонтерів і перші 2-3 тижні митник, прикордонник і волонтер створили умови, щоб там, де буде найбільший наплив, щоб людину, якщо вона хвилюється, перший раз їде за кордон, можна було заспокоїти, допомогти, порадити і зробити відповідні позиції. Підготуйте організаційні умови, подивіться по консультантам і скоординуйте з місцевою владою”, – таке розпорядження дав Президент.

Крім того, глава держави нагадав, що станом на сьогодні майже 3,5 млн громадян України вже оформили біометричні закордонні паспорти.
