Хронічну втому можна визначити за аналізом крові – науковці Стенфорда

Синдром хронічної втоми жителів розивнених країн – не просто вигадка для обговорень на сторінках жіночих журналів, а справжня медична проблема.

У крові людей, які страждають через відсутність відпочинку, виявляють маркери запалення, що свідчать про збій у роботі імунної системи, йдеться на The Naked Science.

Такі процеси спостерігали вчені Стенфордського університету під час дослідження 192 добровольців з діагностованим синдромом хронічної втоми (СХВ).

Нездатність людини відпочити і постійні скарги на перевтому часто виглядають як прояв звичайної ліні або недисциплінованості, проте результати, які науковець Хосе Монтойя і його колеги опублікували в журналі PNAS, показують, що стан СХВ – більш ніж реальна медична проблема.

За твердежнням науковців, ця проблема пов’язана з пригніченням гальмівних процесів в нервовій системі.

Наприклад, у групи, де люди найбільше страждають СХВ втричі вищим був вміст цитокінів, які беруть участь в регуляції енергообміну і харчової поведінки – вони відповідальні за відсутність апетиту в людини.

Вчені додають, що поки не можна сказати, чи є цитокіновий дисбаланс причиною або наслідком СХВ, однак схоже, що хвороба може бути пов’язана з порушенням метаболізму і енергообміну, це і “збиває з пантелику” імунітет, запускаючи запальні процеси.
