На горі Лисоня у Тернопільській області триває процес ексгумації на місці виявлених останків вояків часів Першої світової війни.

Їх знайшли у кар’єрі, де добувають камінь, кажуть у Тернопільській ОДА

Розкопки проводять археологічним методом. У могилі двошарове санітарне захоронення 50-60 осіб.

“Виявлене поховання облаштоване у звичайному воєнному фронтовому окопі. Ймовірно, що воно було створене вже після воєнних баталій, оскільки останки в похоронних ямах знаходяться у хаотичному порядку – скинені будь-як один на одного, а не лежать, як це буває в процесі урочистого поховання. Поряд з останками знайшли хрестики, ґудзики, монети, зброю, які належать воїнам австрійської, німецької та російської армій”, – повідомив заступник керівника меморіально-пошукового комунального підприємства Львівської обласної ради “Доля” Володимир Харчук.

Усі віднайдені останки з військовими почестями перезахоронять у місті Бережани на Меморіальному кладовищі жертв Першої світової війни.
