Президент України Петро Порошенко їде в Нью-Йорк, щоб виступити на Генеральній асамблеї ООН 20 вересня щодо питання розміщення миротворчої місії на Донбасі.

Про це ЗМІ повідомили в Адміністрації президента.

“Президент вилітає 17 вересня і пробуде в США тиждень”, – пояснили джерела.

Програма візиту Порошенка в США ще уточнюється, чи йде робота з підготовки двосторонніх зустрічей Президента в рамках візиту. Поки тільки відомо, що планується двостороння зустріч Порошенка з Генеральним секретарем ООН Антоніу Гутеррешем і низкою американських і європейських лідерів.

Нагадаємо, канцлер Німеччини Ангела Меркель і президент Росії Володимир Путін обговорили російську пропозицію щодо місії ООН на Донбасі. Канцлер позитивно поставилася до російської ініціативи, проте настійно зазначила, що там необхідно провести зміни в мандат.
