Петиція, яку було оприлюднено на сайті парламенту держави, отримала понад 132 тисячі підписів.

Для того, щоб її розглянув британський уряд, необхідно було отримати 10 тисяч підписів, а парламент – 100 тисяч підписів. Таку несамовиту кількість прихильників перегляду результату вдалося зібрати за півдня.

До того ж, документ мав знаходитися на сайті протягом 5 місяців.

  • Нагадаємо, у зазначеній петиції люди пропонують змінити правила наступного референдуму. Зокрема, у випадку, якщо явка на референдум становить менше 75%, а кількість голосів за той чи інший варіант не перевищує 60%, необхідно призначати повторний референдум.
