Група технічних спеціалістів Internet Engineers Task Force розробили новий стандарт зашифрованих з’єднань, який має допомогти краще захищатися від кіберзлочинців.

Над цим новим стандартом безпеки Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 інженери працювали понад чотири роки. Як переконують розробники, з новим стандартом TLS 1.3 інтернет-з’єднання має стати безпечнішим і краще захищеним від хакерів.

Зокрема, TLS 1.3 зможе забезпечити просте та швидке з’єднання між сервером і клієнтом, а шифрування відбувається якомога раніше, що має звести до мінімуму кількість незахищених даних.

Відтак, цей новий стандарт значно утруднить хакерам розшифровування. Алгоритм шифрування Legacy взагалі видалений, бо його недоліки кіберзлочинці використовували для зламу.
