Нове свято для українців: сюрприз до травневих

В Україні стало більше на одне свято, відповідний указ підписав президент України Петро Порошенко. Відтепер 30 квітня встановлено Днем прикордонника, повідомляє прес-служба МВС України.

«Ще в 2014 році ми припинили святкувати спільні свята з країною-агресором. Травневий день прикордонника теж має свою історію, але ця історія не наша. І для цього професійного свята ми знайшли іншу дату. Я підписав Указ про встановлення Дня прикордонника 30 квітня. Це свято співзвучне саме з нашою історією», – сказав Петро Порошенко.

Він підкреслив, що за час війни з Росією 825 прикордонників отримали державні нагороди і одну Зірку Героя України.

«Маю за високу честь вручити Зірку Героя України рідним полковника Євгена Пікуса – його мамі Ганні Феодосіївні та рідному брату Михайлу. Євген загинув смертю хоробрих в серпні 2014 року під час бою з російською диверсійно-розвідувальною групою. Вічна слава Герою!», – зазначив президент.

Петро Порошенко вручив лейтенантам, випускникам-відмінникам Національної академії ДПСУ, дипломи. Також молоде поповнення склало клятву прикордонника.

Згідно з рішенням, прийнятим Кабінетом міністрів України, – для забезпечення раціонального використання робочого часу та створення сприятливих умов для святкування, робочий день, який передує святковому дню 1 травня, буде перенесений на суботу 5 травня. Так що в понеділок 30 квітня, перед Днем праці, в українців буде додатковий вихідний день. Разом на початку місяця виходить цілий міні-відпустку – з 28 квітня по 1 травня.
