Грузія не змогла б протистояти російській агресії без допомоги України

Про це заявив голова Одеської обласної державної адміністрації Міхеіл Саакашвілі, передає Еспресо.TV.

“Ще в 2006 році Путін пригрозив мені війною, і в 2006 році він дав розпорядження готуватися до війни. Звичайно, коли вони готувалися, ми теж готувалися. Якщо б не було допомоги України, Грузія тоді б не вистояла. Війна почалася з так званої Південної Осетії – це дві вузькі гірські ущелини і кілька десятка сіл. По території це 1/10 частина Одеської області. Звичайно, коли Путін зайшов зі стотисячною армією і бомбив нас з 200 літаків, він не мав на меті захопити дві гірські ущелини, він хотів захопити всю Грузію”, – наголосив він.

Саакашвілі додав, що Грузія готувала своїх військових в Україні.

“В Україні ми готували своїх військових. Україна нам дала ППО, яка була для нас критичною в перші дні вторгнення. Україна дала систему “Бук” і ми збили 12 російських бомбардувальників Ту-22 М3, які ніхто ніколи не збивав”, – сказав він.
