На Закарпатті виготовили стометровий прапор України

Українське товариство глухих (УТОГ) за ініціативи Закарпатської ОДА виготовило національний символ. На пошиття прапору було використано 200 метрів шовкової тканини – синього і жовтого кольорів та півтора кілометра ниток. Ширина стягу складає 3 метри. Над стягом працювали близько 30 швачок.

– Пошив прапору зайняв майже тиждень. Одна частина швачок працювала над жовтою половиною стягу, друга – над синьою. Потім зшивали посередині, – каже одна з кравчинь.

В Закарпатській ОДА зізнаються, що ідея пошити такий прапор виникла не випадково, адже багато є різних державних свят чи офіційних урочистостей, на яких використання такого великого стягу було б доречним.

Вперше новий стяг розвернуть 23 серпня на День Прапора України. Місцева влада вже оголосила маршрут ходи зі стометровим стягом – від пам’ятника Олександру Духновичу до Площі Народної.

Нагадаємо, що найбільший національний стяг занесений до Книги Рекордів України, площа якого складає 2400 квадратних метрів і є найбільшим в світі. Він був представлений молодіжною організацією «Батьківщина молода» на фестивалі Міжнародного фестивалю екстремального водного туризму «Поліська регата».
