Виробник антивірусних програм корпорація Sophos опублікувала рейтинг 10 найпоширеніших вірусів останніх 6 місяців. Дані рейтингу, складеного на основі статистики звернень користувачів заражених комп’ютерів, просто шокували експертів з мережної безпеки.

Навіть швидкого погляду на цей список досить для того, щоб зрозуміти, що протягом кількох місяців у рейтингу практично нічого не мінялося.

За числом заражень, як і раніше, впевнено лідирує найнебезпечніший вірус Magistr, внесений в усі відомі антивірусні пакети кілька місяців тому. Його «популярність» дотепер може бути пояснена тільки повною зневагою користувачів до елементарних правил мережної безпеки.

Те ж стосується ще старших вірусів, таких як Anna Kournikova чи Kakworm, які посіли не останні місця в рейтингу. Програма-патч, що охороняє ПК від зараження Kakworm була випущена Microsoft ще в 1999 р.
